Our Purpose
to foster a culture of environmental awareness; to play an active role in the development and implementation of energy efficient and sustainable practices; and to support stewardship of community and natural resources. Our tagline is "Building a Sustainable Community". Green Hanson envisions a community where its residents can take advantage of sidewalks, bike paths, town meeting places, farmers markets, and a walk-able downtown. We see energy efficient buildings and homes utilizing renewable energy throughout the town. Residents have incorporated environmentally sustainable practices into their daily lives and feel invested in Hanson's many community and natural resources.
