"Our Own Backyards"
(Part 1)
When we see what we have in our own backyards, then we know what we have and how important it is to preserve and protect these areas. We met two more environmental heros Deanna and Jerry. They are truly working to preserve and protect a beautiful and environmentally important area. There are vernal pools. It's a forested area that is a refuge and home to animals, birds, salamanders and more. Hear their description of what is proposed and what could be lost.
"Our Own Backyards"
(Part 2)
Literally seeing what 's in our own backyards, opens our eyes to what we have. Seeing brings us to knowing how important it is to preserve and protect these areas. We'd like Deanna and Jerry, two environmental heros to show you more of what could be lost if the proposed development happens. What will be lost will be gone forever. They are working to preserve and protect a beautiful and environmentally important area.
"Our Own Backyards"
(Part 3)
Jerry grew up in this area knowing what a wonderful refuge it is for us and our feathered and furry friends that call it home. Our forested areas are so very important. These woods include vernal pools. Jerry had these woods growing up and wants to see that future generations get the same peace and enjoyment that he and some many others have had. It's an important legacy for his children, their children and all the future generations. He asks to please help save this area so future generations can see it for themselves and not just as a photograph of what once was.
